Helping those less fortunate in our community

Our New School families have once again proved to be a caring, generous, supportive community.  Today is the final day for families and friends of The New School to pledge a Thanksgiving meal for families in Lancaster that are in need.  Annually, The New School partners with Southeast Lancaster Health Services (SELHS) to provide Thanksgiving meals for approximately 100 families that utilize services offered by SELHS.  This year we thought we may fall short of our minimum goal of 100, but as we made our final ‘call to action’ TODAY, so many families stepped up to the plate and we thank you!!!  Next Tuesday, November 25th, NSoL families and our middle school students will help to organize and to deliver these donated meals to SELHS for distribution to families in time for the holiday.  Thanksgiving
