Fruit and Veggie Tasting Mornings in the Classroom

Once a month during the school year the New School presents Fruit/Veggie Tasting Mornings to introduce a new and possibly unusual fruit/ veggie to the students.  Parent volunteers visit each classroom in 15 min intervals, present the fruit/veggie selection, offer samples of the selected fruit/veggie and then answer questions, which can be delightful and sometimes hysterical!  Volunteers are needed for the first Monday of each month for approximately 2 ½ hours right after morning carline.  Volunteer duties include prepping the fruit/veggie selection, learning about the selection, then visiting each classroom to present the fruit/veggie selection and offer samples.  Clearances are not required
