Thank you for attending our Science Showcase
The staff of the New School of Lancaster would like to give a big MAHALO to all the parents who attended the Science and Technology Fair that was held Tuesday evening. We had over 200 people attend the event.

It is this kind of support which creates a positive atmosphere in our school allowing our children to find success. The students enjoyed sharing their work with the New School of Lancaster Community.

As the 8th grade science teacher, I want to thank those parents and friends who asked questions to the middle school students about their particular project. This will help the students prepare for questions that will be posed to them by the judges at the North Museum Science Fair which will be held at Millersville University on March 12. The four students who will represent our school at the fair are:

Brayton Frick – “Shelf Life of Organic vs Conventional Foods”
Miazha Smith – “How do Salinity Levels Affect Bean Plant Growth”
Lucas Jennis – “Most Flammable Type of Common Clothing”
Mini Brigatti – “Are Sanitizing Wipes Effective?”

I cannot say it enough.
