The Moving–Up Ceremony celebrates the completion of the Montessori three-year cycle and commemorates the beginning for students moving to the next level in their educational journey.
The ceremony will take place outside on the natural playground. Parents of Kindergarten, 3rd, 6th, and our Middle School graduates are invited to join us. This is a SHINE ONLY event.
Third Year students will present their autobiographies, the culminating project in their Early Elementary experience. We hope you’ll join us for this momentous occasion; students present their work and showcase skills learned throughout the three year curriculum!
Upper Elementary students will showcase their individual research projects!
Student display tables will be set up to peruse at your leisure from 5:00-6:30pm, and a few whole-group presentations will be shared around 5:15pm.
New School Montessori’s Annual Spring Fling Carnival is our largest fundraiser of the year—and one of our most cherished community traditions!
Families, friends, and supporters come together to celebrate the spirit of our school while making a meaningful impact!
Your participation helps ensure that a Montessori education remains accessible, vibrant, and deeply impactful for every child!
The Spring Fling (formerly known as Maria’s Table) is an annual fundraiser to enrich New School programs, a tradition since 1991.
We celebrate the unique work of the teachers, administrators, students, and volunteers who are vital to creating an enriching learning experience. The Spring Fling is an opportunity to come together, not only to support this work, but to build connections with one another.
